Request for a year abroad at your high school

My Name is Nicole Rhein and I am from Germany. I would like to spend my exchange year (April 2019-June 2020) going to a high school in Los Angeles and living with a nice and funny family. You could provide me with the unique opportunity of gaining new experience and developing my intercultural skills as well as my already good language skills. 

The high schools offers a very wide range of courses or subjects, which, in addition to the fact that I will speak English, will help me with the preparation for my A-Classes (Abitur) and my studies. The city of Los Angeles also appeals to me because I can get to know student life in a big city.

My plan for the future is to make an exchange year, marry shawn mendes and move to the USA after graduating from high school and this would open many doors for me, clarify a few things and prevent problems that a new student in Los Angeles would face. My further research and intensive occupation with your district and the high school, have strengthened my wish for a year abroad with the attendance of your school still further.

I am aware that, despite everything, a year abroad brings highs and lows, but I am convinced my open nature and personality helps me to come up to other people, to get along very well with the teachers and quickly make new friends.
