Hi! My name is Katie and I'm looking to become a host family. I have three children, Taylor, Genni, and Jacob. Becoming a host family was actually Genni's idea. It's something she's wanted to do for a long time and she is very excited for this opportunity. 

We live in a four bedroom condo. The girls share a room but Taylor will be moving out and going to college this summer. We're looking to host a girl so she can share a room with Genni. Jacob has his own room and our fourth room is currently occupied by our roomate, Mike. 

Our family is not religious but very accepting of all religions. We have no dietary restrictions, except Jacob drinks lactose-free milk. We love to cook all kinds of foods, if there's anything you usually have at home or something you want we would be more than happy to try to make it.

Our exchange student will be spending most of her time with Genni. She is 17, she will be a senior when the exchange student comes. Genni loves theater and sports, although next year she will be preoccupied with theater alone. The theater program at Genni's school has invited many exchange students into the program and is very hopeful to have more soon.

Genni is also very adventurous, she likes to go out into nature and just hang out. She isn't much of a reader but when she finds the right book she's consumed. Genni likes to hang out with her friends and will always try to make sure you are involved as much as you want to be. If you are a typically shy person, Genni can help you open up to the world, not by force, but just being around her makes you happier and more open.

Jacob is a gamer, he loves video games and board games. He loves challenging himself with different puzzles and riddles. 

Taylor loves to read, she loves sports, especially rugby. She's a tough girl and she always tried her hardest. Taylor is becoming a marine and going to college, so you most likely wontw get to meet her unless she comes home from college during winter or spring break.

Our roomate, Mike is pretty reserved. He has to kids, a girl and a boy. The bot is a rough-houser and the girl is quiet and also reserved.

I am a single mom raising three beautiful children. I love spending time with my family and going over to my best friend's house. I am very excited to help you in your journey into a new country and a new life. We want to make sure you always feel comfortable, so if there are any issues, let us know.
