Hello! My name is Melissa, I am currently 21 years old. My birthday is the 17th of February. I study graphic design and thanks to that I embarked on the Erasmus adventure and I loved getting to know new cultures and new people. That's why I've decided to try to do exchanges and to improve my English and cultural knowledge even more. In my family we are very welcoming too, and just as I would travel to a family we would be happy to host someone else. Our house is spacious and cosy, we have a very nice terrace and a private swimming pool, which is a luxury to come in summer ;) We have a dog who is also very affectionate, above all we offer a family atmosphere and a lot of desire to meet people from other countries.

I am a very active person and passionate about art. I like going for walks, being with animals, doing handicrafts, cooking.... I speak English, and I have some knowledge of Portuguese (since I did my erasmus in Porto and I'm in love with both Porto and Portugal) and Japanese (I'm a fan of anime and manga, but I love many other aspects of Japanese culture).

I want to travel, see the world and meet new people. I have done several exchanges with my high school and I have stayed with families in Germany and it was a very nice experience. I love the feeling of going to another place and living with new people who you can eventually come to consider your second family and above all friends too! I find it a very nice and enriching experience.

EN MI FAMILIA SOMOS MUY ACOGEDORES TAMBIÉN, Y DEL MISMO MODO QUE YO VIAJARÍA A UNA FAMILIA ESTARÍAMOS ENCANTADOS DE ACOGER A OTRA PERSONA. EN NUESTRA CASA ES AMPLIA Y ACOGEDORA, CONTAMOS CON UNA TERRAZA MUY BONITA Y CON PISCINA PRIVADA, LO QUE ES UN LUJO PARA VENIR EN VERANO ;) TENEMOS UN PERRO QUE ES MUY CARIÑOSO TAMBIÉN, SOBRE TODO OFRECEMOS AMBIENTE FAMILIAR Y MUCHAS GANAS DE CONOCER GENTE DE OTROS PAÍSES.

Soy una persona muy activa y apasionada por el arte. Me gusta mucho salir a dar paseos, estar con animales, hacer manualidades, cocinar... Hablo inglés, y tengo algún conocimiento de portugués (ya que hice mi erasmus en Porto y estoy enamorada tanto de Porto como de Portugal) y japonés (soy fanática del anime y el manga, pero me encantan muchos otros aspectos de la cultura japonesa).

Quiero viajar, conocer mundo y nuevas personas. He hecho varios intercambios con el instituto y he estado con familias en Alemania y fue una experiencia muy bonita. Me encanta la sensación de ir a otro lugar y convivir con nuevas personas a las que con el tiempo puedes llegar a considerar tu segunda familia y sobre todo amigos también! Me parece una experiencia muy bonita y enriquecedora.

No sé qué más escribir, pero quien quiera hacer planes, conocer nuevos rincones, personas, experiencias, estaré encantada de que nos conozcamos!
