First and foremost my wife and I love to travel. Since I am an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher I have the luxury of working in many countries around the globe.

We decided to move to Alanya, Turkey as the city has everything we want.

It has beautiful mountains, caves, lakes, rivers, canyons and plateaus.  

The city features a mediterranean climate as the Mediterranean Sea is beside it.

As such for a good part of the year it is warm if not hot.

One can go swimming in the sea for more than five months or partake in the many outdoor activities that the city and its environs have to offer.

If you are a nature lover or if you like watersports then Alanya is the place to be.

Moreover, aside from being a tourist destination Alanya has ample infrastructure and many amenities including cafes, restaurants, beaches, shops, etc.

Since the city has less than four hundred thousand people living here feels like living in an area that has a more relaxed pace of life relative to large urban areas.

My wife and I have an apartment that is within walking distance to the beach.

Since the apartment is in the center of the city you can access many other parts of Alanya from it.

There is an Aquapark nearby for water lovers and easy access to transportation routes within walking distance.

Our apartment is bright, cosy, clean and very new.

You will not be disappointed.
